CARTERTON | KITCHEN

INTO THE LIGHT

When the owners purchased this 1920's property they were presented with the issue of having a kitchen with no external walls or windows. This created a dark gloomy kitchen where the lights were always on and to make matters worse the walls were painted dark grey.

The obvious solution was to brighten the colour palette and install a skylight to flood the space with natural light.

Art deco anaglypta wallpaper and hand made tiles have been added along with a solid rimu benchtop transforming the kitchen into a bright inviting space with personality.
